Land Plane Independence Series

After a summer of terrible drought, we are finally getting rain and able to better utilize our land plane. This has made an amazing difference in our very lengthy gravel driveway. So far, we are very impressed! Wish we’d discovered this product sooner!

I give four stars only because the front two carriage bolts on skid shoe were loose. One visibly hanging out, the other finger tight. Besides the hardware issue, this land plane is well built and should be a great addition to implement arsenal.

After an 8 to 10 week wait, I got my new land plane. Just looking at it I knew it was well built and sturdy. I had a chance to hook it up and use it this last weekend and it works great! My driveway has never looked better. None of this surprised me however I was expecting a high-quality implement. Expecting high quality because of the customer service I received when ordering it. After all the internet research I decided to go with the Homestead Land plane, so I placed the order and paid for it. Within five minutes of placing the order I got a call from Homestead. I wish I could remember the name of the lady that called, but she was super. She called to make sure I had ordered the correct implement for my tractor size. She answered all my questions in a very friendly manner without talking at me, but rather to me. She was super friendly! I call that good customer service. But that isn’t the end of the customer service story. After ordering and paying I realized they do offer a veteran discount. I had already paid, and the money was taken from my bank account, but I figured it was worth a try. I went back to their web site and followed the link to verify my veteran status. I got the code and sent Homestead an email explaining that I messed up and didn’t apply for the discount before paying. I got a reply the next day saying they would refund me 10%. And a couple of days later they refunded $144 to my account. They didn’t have to do that; it was my mistake. I call that great customer service! That is why I was expecting a high quality, well-built implement. Any company that cares that much about service will also care about quality. I will be buying from them again and recommend you do also. You won’t regret it!

Very well built,cant wait to use it on my 600 ft driveway. But the snow keeps interfering with my plans

I was originally in the market for a box blade to maintain our shared 300 ft long driveway but after talking with the sales rep, he explained the functionality of this and I choose the 60" model for my 26 horse tractor. This is the best implement I have used on my tractor so far. I have recently received and started using it and after finding the correct forward/back pitch and 3 PT height, found it to work fantastic. A handful of passes back and forth and our previously pothole filled gravel drive is smooth as butter. The days of manually filling low spots with shovels and rakes are gone. I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend to anyone with a gravel drive.

This thing is fabulous! Very solid, sturdy, & well designed throughout. Has it all over my rear blade for maintaining our crushed limestone 150yd drive & parking area on our place. Keeps it clean, weed free, level, & the wife HAPPY like nothing else. The Homestead folks were very knowledgeable, helpful & accommodating thru the whole process. I can't believe it doesn't have many rave reviews. Quality & value from a company that knows what they are doing. You won't regret purchasing this Implement.

Bought this to use on my Massy Ferguson 1723E. My wife said we needed more gravel for our driveway. I used this and pulled so much gravel back to the top. I smoothed out the whole driveway. this thing is great!

I received my newly purchased land plane via UPS Freight. It was securely fastened to a pallet and protected. All parts are well made and high quality. Hook up to my 35 HP tractor was easy and straight forward. I have a 600 foot stone driveway that had never been shaped up since it was installed a few years ago. This implement was exactly what I needed to get the job done. I look forward to using it more and purchasing again from Homestead Implements!
