    Pinnacle Series Grapple

Posted by Ryan Serianni on Jul 16th 2022

Simply Awesome! Like so many others, I carefully studied several makes and models of grapple implements before deciding on Homestead. I chose Homestead for a few reasons. First, the reviews that existed at the time were unanimously high - mostly 5-star. Second, the features and build quality appeared to be among the best available. And third, it meant a lot that the company was veteran owned. The purchasing and delivery experience was mostly positive, but the customer service aspects unique to my purchase was excellent. The not so good part of my experience was that the grapple delivered two weeks later than originally forecasted. I don’t know the specifics behind the delay but I am aware of the various market forces that are impacting manufacturing and transportation nation wide so the delay does not weigh heavily in this review. Where Homestead stood out was at the moment the grapple was ready to ship. I had purchased a third function kit from Summit hydraulics and was just getting around to install it in preparation for the delivery when I received notice that the grapple was shipping. During the process of installing it, I realized that I male/female configuration ordered did not match the fittings on the Summit. I called to ask if it was too late to make a change. Despite that the grapple has already been crated, Chris directed an employee to make the change. Sure, it was a $10 part that I could have purchased after the fact. But the point is, Chris and the Homestead team wanted to satisfy their customer even when the customer screwed up. Sometimes it’s the small things that mean so much. The first time used, I experienced one problem with the grapple, which really isn’t Homestead’s fault. I purchased the SSQA design. The aftermarket SSQA on my Kubota is manufactured by ATI. The problem I had was that the handles on the ATI could not be locked down because when attempting to do so, they would hit the hydraulic cylinder guards on the grapple before reaching the lockdown point. I had to cut about a half inch off the handles to remedy the problem. Again, not Homestead’s fault. As for the grapple itself…. IT. IS. AWESOME. Fabrication was as advertised and it is a beast. I haven’t yet put it through the most challenging work I have planned for it, but so far, it works flawlessly, and I love it. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my decision to purchase the pinnacle series grapple from Homestead. The team there is great and they make an excellent product!

    Root Grapple 60”

Posted by David on Jun 29th 2022

Homestead Implements was great to deal with for ordering. Unit showed up on schedule from freight company. I chose to unload the unit & sign for it. Next time I’ll choose contactless delivery. The grapple is well made and fits my Kubota L3400 perfectly. My hydraulics limit what I can lift. The grapple could certainly handle more. Couplers work well and came with dust plugs. And I really like the built in stand up on its own feature for storage. I would recommend these grapples and Homestead Implements to anyone looking for tractor attachments. Well done!

By far this is one of the BEST attachments I have purchased. It gets used just about every week. Not disappointed in its performance and quality.

    72" Root Grapple

Posted by RJ on May 25th 2022

I have only had this Grapple for about a month. It has exceeded my high expectations. For over 50 years I have been fabricating custom metal items and this is a superior quality unit. It has moved trees (18" dia. x 16' long), large piles of brush, many, many rocks (up to 24" x 28" x 36") and some root clearing work. This Grapple has done all that I've asked of it. Thank you "Homestead" team!

    72" Pinnacle Root Grapple

Posted by John Schwingle on Apr 1st 2022

When it arrived on the truck I unloaded it and had it attached to my Branson 5220C in minutes. I've unloaded 25' telephone poles, moved huge stump that almost nose dived the tractor, uprooted old lilac bushes and helping to groom the wooded area of old downed entangled branches. Won't be without it now!

I have this for my Kioti CK2610HST. I've been working it a lot and hard for the past couple months and it's done everything I've asked of it. Very well made and worth the price. I did a lot of shopping around before I decided on my homestead, and couldn't be happier with my decision. It is more capable than my smaller tractor.
