The Independence Series Land Plane with ripper shanks is a perfect match for the sandier soils of the south, standard-duty projects, compacted roads, and occasional usage. Our Independence line is capable of withstanding moderate projects, and is designed for tractors with lower horsepower ratings. This line features a pared-down design from the Pinnacle Series and is available in a more affordable package. This line of products will Quick-Hitch exclusively to Cat-1 sub-compact or compact tractors with a maximum of 30 HP. The Independence Series Land Plane with Shanks is available in two sizes, 48” and 60” as well as six standard powder coat colors that are designed to match any major tractor brand. All Independence Series Land Planes are Cat-1 Quick-Hitch compatible.

Good quality and works well with my Massey Ferguson 1705 compact tractor. Much easier to groom my gravel drive with this implement than my box blade. The price was competitive as well. Very pleased.

I am very impressed with the quality and the price point of this land plane. I can easily pull the 48" wide land plane with my 1025R tractor.

I give it 4-1/2 stars. It is well built. After I ordered I was contacted by Homestead to verify it would work with my tractor which I appreciated. The item arrived on time. It works well for the intended purpose and is faster for road smoothing than using a box blade or landscape rake. I do still need to use my landscape rake for final dressing after using the land plane. My only complaints are the shanks need additional adjustment holes. The shanks stick down too far in the lowest position, the shanks cannot be fully retracted in the down position. Also on the 72" model the two inner shanks cannot be installed upside-down due to the bracing interfering.

Was happy to see this was made in the USA and they have the respect for all of us vets. Have not used yet and will get to work on my road with it this weekend but looks amazing and cannot wait to use it. Excited to upgrade from a grader blade

Received it before scheduled appointment. Looks great. Price was $500 cheaper than anyplace other I checked. Haven't been able to use it yet but looking forward to using it. Thanks alot for all the help. These people are great to work with. Look forward to another purchase

Received and went right work with it. Got several passes and got it looking like a road again. Planer works very good. Need to do some more passes but have to wait for the rain to stop. Days and days of rain. Very good attachment I use with my JD 1025 works well.
